The Continental Divide Trail
This year, Brian and I embark on an unforgettable journey along the Continental Divide Trail (CDT). This incredible expedition takes place in July 2023, as we embrace the untamed beauty and rugged challenges of one of North America’s most iconic long-distance hiking trails.
Brian’s passion for hiking and exploration leads us to tackle the CDT, a 3,100-mile (4,988 kilometers) path stretching from the border of Mexico to Canada, traversing through five U.S. states: New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. The trail weaves its way along the spine of the continent, often following the Continental Divide, showcasing breathtaking landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and remote wilderness.
Equipped with an indomitable spirit and an unwavering determination, we embark on this arduous journey, fully aware of the physical and mental challenges that awaits us. Throughout our expedition, we embrace the solitude and solitude of the trail, finding solace in the wilderness and developing a deep appreciation for the power of nature.
